Guides for Ottawa Homeowners
The information most contractor sites leave out — real prices, real regulations, and honest answers about what you actually need.
Why we publish this
Try to find out what a repair actually costs in Ottawa and you mostly end up on a Reddit thread where somebody is asking whether $300 for a ceiling patch is reasonable — and getting six different answers. Real numbers are surprisingly hard to come by, and so is a straight answer about whether a job even needs doing.
These guides are our attempt at both. They are written for homeowners deciding whether to call anyone at all, which means they include the answers that cost us work: when to leave a ceiling alone, when a repair beats a replacement, and which jobs legally belong to a licensed trade instead of us.
