Our rate is $100–$145/hr with a two-hour minimum, which puts the minimum visit at $200. Most jobs are quoted flat rather than hourly. The published Ottawa rate card lists thirty-one common jobs with real prices, so you can check before you call.

Because the drive, the setup and the pack-down cost the same whether a job takes twenty minutes or two hours. The minimum is really a callout charge with the first two hours of labour included. It also means a single small fix costs the same as two or three — so if you have a list building up, send the whole list and the value goes up sharply.

No — never. There are no trip fees, zone charges or fuel surcharges anywhere we work. The $200 visit minimum covers travel from Orléans in the east out to Carleton Place and Almonte in the west. One price, wherever you are in that range.

Fully insured, with coverage documentation available to condo boards and property managers on request. Worth knowing: handyman work is not itself a licensed trade in Ontario, but electrical and plumbing work is — we will always tell you which side of that line your job sits on.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Saturdays are by appointment rather than standard availability — if a weekend is the only time that works, arrange it during the week and we will book it in. Sundays we are closed. Calls and texts outside those hours get picked up next business morning.

Same-day response for urgent requests where possible, and priority scheduling for anything flagged urgent in your quote request. Kanata and Stittsville are usually fastest since that is where most of our work is.

New electrical circuits, panel work and anything needing ESA notification go to a licensed electrical contractor. Main-line plumbing goes to a licensed plumber. Asbestos abatement goes to a certified contractor. We would rather refer you than take a job we should not have.

That is usually the cheapest way to work with us. Most of the cost of any small job is the callout, so four fixtures in one visit costs a fraction of four separate visits. If you have a list building up, send the whole list.
